- Outlook: AMD expects Q4 2026 revenue of “approximately $17 billion, plus or minus 3%”, about 66% higher year over year at the midpoint, with non-GAAP gross margin of about 55%.
- Quote: chair and CEO Lisa Su said the quarter’s revenue exceeded the high end of AMD’s guidance.
- Scope of this article: we report only the headline figures we read in the release. The release does not break out how much of Data Center revenue is AI accelerators, so we do not state that.
Why it matters
AMD is one of the main alternatives to Nvidia for AI training and inference hardware, and Data Center is now the majority of its revenue. A near-doubling of that segment, plus a sharply higher Q4 forecast, is a sign of continued AI infrastructure demand, although the figures are AMD’s own and the guidance is a forecast, not a result.
